Cargo Insurance 

Inner-City Express (ICE) shall not be liable for loss, damage or delay caused by acts of God, labor or civil disputes, traffic, vehicle failures, security, customs or quarantine. ICE shall not be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or income, whether or not ICE has knowledge that such damages might be incurred. Unless a greater value is declared when an order is placed, the shipper agrees and declares that the value of each shipment is not over $250.00 If additional insurance is needed, such coverage is available at an extra charge.  Please call ICE for details.

Items not insurable: Money, currency, notes, securities, jewelry, precious stones, precious metals, furs, paintings, statues, or other fine arts.

All insured deliveries are Direct only. All insured deliveries must be packaged properly. 

ALL SHIPMENTS WITH A DECLARED VALUE GREATER THAN $250 WILL BE DELIVERED ON A DIRECT/HOT SHOT SERVICE TYPE.
ANY EFFORT TO DECLARE A VALUE IN EXCESS OF THE MAXIMUMS ALLOWED IN THIS SERVICE GUIDE IS NULL AND VOID AND THE ACCEPTANCE FOR CARRIAGE OF ANY SHIPMENT BEARING A DECLARED VALUE IN EXCESS OF THE ALLOWED MAXIMUMS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF ANY PROVISION OF THIS SERVICE GUIDE AS TO SUCH SHIPMENT. EVEN IF A HIGHER VALUE IS DECLARED, OUR LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR DELAY WILL NOT EXCEED A SHIPMENT’S REPAIR COST, ITS DEPRECIATED VALUE OR ITS REPLACEMENT COST, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
